Why Didn't Dana's Movie Career Take Off?

After watching Opportunity Knocks you have to wonder why Dana's career never took off?

The movie is good and he did really well and he showed he is very versatile and can do it all with different impressions and characters and even drama and romance.

Dana is also a whole lot better looking and likable than most other SNL alumni who went on to do many more films.

I think he was really ill for awhile but that's not why his career never took off

Yes I agree. It's a shame but it seems like he is pretty happy with how his life has turned out. I would have liked to see him do more movies and TV.
