That was so strange!

I just watched the movie today, and something totally freaked me.
I mean, Robbie Coltrane without hair all over the place is just WEIRD in the eyes of a Potter fan! I mean, this is, like, the only movie apart from the Potters I have seen, that had Robbie in it. Great movie and everything, but everytime is saw Robbie (and, obviously, he appears A LOT), in my mind I would just go, like, OMG! HAGRID!, at that was kinda anoying, cause he is a great actor, and all that, but that's just part of being in the Potters, I guess. You get used to the actors being who they play. If anyone has watched Love Actually, will know how I felt seing Alan Rickman in a suit with short brown hair and glasses! I mean, the guy is Snape, right?
Anyway, this is getting longer than most of the messages I have seen posted elsewhere, so I'll just quit it here.

A clean-shaven Robbie Coltraine appears in National Lampoon`s European Vacation. The Griswold family from the US are staying in a small London hotel with shared baths. Mrs. Griswold hears someone enter the bathroom while she`s in the tub. Thinking it`s her husband, she starts talking sexy, but it`s actually Robbie Coltraine who becomes all hot and bothered listening.

a clean shaven robbie coltrane appears in almost everything that isnt a harry potter movie, like the pope must die, goldeneye, the world is not enough, comic strip presents etc

The only other thing I've seen Coltrane in where he is totally bearded and long-
Haired, similar to his style as Hagrid, is that hilarious Christmas Special in
the Blackadder Dynasty 'Blackadder's Christmas Carol'. He plays the Spirit of
Christmas in it, hilarious.

old thread but I would say, watch craker. The english version (not fitz the american one).
Robbie Coltrain in a very different role
(15 and over I would suggest, adult material)

I second the Cracker recommendation. Fantastic show. I wish it would air on BBC America again here. Fitz is one of those amazing characters, and Robbie is wonderful in the role.

It's fun to see Nuns on the Run on TV. I haven't seen it in ages, and it still gives me the giggles.

No offence, but being on a movie database, perhaps you should expand your repertoire of watched films?

He's not Snape! He's Hans, from Die Hard!

Sorry, folks, but Alan was terribly underused in the Potter films, and you never saw him at his best.

If you're into Harry Potter, I think that you'll like to know that Rupert Grint has done a film called Wild Target with the director of this film =) I haven't watched Nuns on the Run, but judging by your comments on it, I hope Wild Target is as good as this film!! ^^
