Two questions about dialogue...

During the bank robbery scene in the beginning of the movie, Brian shouts out loud: "I don't have a gun you homicidal pellok!" I am probably not spelling the exact word he used the right way. Does anybody know what word Brian said? Is it British slang perhaps? Also...before Charlie "bonks" the Oriental guy on the head with the bedpan, it sounds like he says: "This is a sloosh-room." Again, I probably did not understand what he said. What word did Charlie use to describe the room they were in?

Thanks!

Cheers!

Sincerely, Steve B.

P.S. By the way, I love "Nuns on the Run." I don't care if "Nuns on the Run" stole ideas from "We're No Angels" and "A Fish Called Wanda." I also don't care if "Sister Act" was a "rip off" of "Nuns on the Run." I enjoy all of these movies for different reasons.

Pilock is a slang word for 'idiot'
A sloosh room is a slange word for 'toilet' or rest room.

Actually, he said "This is a sluice room", which is the name given to a special room in a hospital or industrial establishment where equipment is washed with chemicals to make sure they are thoroughly clean. Bedpans (which was the weapon used here) are put into sluices to clean them for re-use on other patients.

And of course, "pillock" is an English slang word for a very dumb, stupid person. Hope that helps.

The word Brian used was Pillock. It's British slang for idiot. The original meaning has been lost in the mists of time.

Charlie says sluice room. Sluice means water (From the Dutch word 'Sluis'). It is literally a water room.

It's amazing and so underrated, you don't get comedies like this anymore, have loved it since first seeing it as a 7yo, 29 now and it's probably better now
