Hotel window (spoilers)

An obvious goof, after she punches out the Venice hotel window, but no damage is there when Marco goes in. There would surely be commotion, and he would see that something had been going on outside.

If someone had gone to the trouble of putting the rifle and radio in there, surely they would check the window too?
