question: can pound land be relied upon to provide a good dvd?
humm, well if you want to spend the afternoon taking the mic out of this film then yes! £1 well spent i feel!

shareThe 'Hollywood' DVD label version, or whatever name the same company is calling themselves now, as they change it regularly (probably for 'copyright' reasons), is actually not a bad version.
It's proper anamorphic widescreen (not just letterbox from a VHS source or 4:3, like most of there titles), so they obviously 'acquired' it from a DVD source.
I've not seen it in poundland for a few years, but do have a copy I picked up ages ago, and it's far from being a good movie...but it's certainly entertaining.
Well worth a pound of anyones money!
