well, now we've got the cabal cut, CB will be no more disappointed. Hope he'll write the two new novels we are all waiting...

The performance of the film should never have impacted his desire to continue writing the books. I will always frown on Barker for the way he abandoned the book sequels. I wouldn't hold my breath for them now. After the passage of so much time, I can't imagine that it would flow together as well.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Come on Clive... we got the long cut, it's just incredible! there will even be a dvd release! We signed petitions, made noise around the web... with results.
now, go to the pc and take back the story of the Nightbreed, it's 20+ years late but it's never too late...

Clive Barker writes his books totally oldschool handwritten with pen and paper. So no pc ;)

At the Cabal Cut screening in Hollywood last night, Barker said that among the many projects he has in the fire, another story about Cabal/Nightbreed is planned. But he didn't say a trilogy.

Yeah but does anybody knows when the release date is for the DVD or Blu-ray?

2014, for what we know til now.

replying what littlemichael said, these are good news, really. Not the planned trilogy but better than nothing. Of course a trilogy would be better. Hope to see the new novel within a couple years.

Summer 2014 is as specific as Scream Factory will be now.

Absolutely. I just worry that he won't ever get around to it.  But here's hoping.
