Alllrighty, let's play the versus game!

Night of the Living Dead, 1968 v 1990 (my vote is 1990 for the kick ass Barbara and the mere presence of Tony Todd)

Dawn of the Dead, 1978 v 2004 (I pick 1978). The only thing '04 had going for it was better makeup effects. 1978 was otherwise superior in every other way.

Day of the Dead. 1985 v 2018 (1985 hands down). 2018 had good gore, but still not as good as '85 and the plot/acting/kills were all WAY better in '85. Bub (85) was a good guy. Max (2018) was as psychotic dead as he was alive.

I'll go with the original Night. Something about that stark black and white photography and it's also a little bit of a sentimental choice being the first Romero zombie movie.

I prefer the remakes of Night and Dawn (no stone throwing please!). I've never seen either DOTD.
