First time I've seen this on network TV.

I live in the NYC area and they are showing this version of NOTLD on a network called Antenna TV which is part of WPIX. I'm surprise they are showing this. WPIX-11 showed the original 1968 version probably for the first time in probably 20 some odd years. Has anyone else seen it on other basic networks?

Last time I saw it was on the Sci-fi channel in November of 2002, and it scared hell out of me. I just turned 13..lol

Up here is Canada it was a regular on the old Scream Channel. Probably played every 3-4 months. Funny, even though I own the movie, I always checked in to see it when it plays.

I know what you mean, I do that with movies as well. I think it's something about watching it on TV that makes it interesting even though they edit the hell out of movies here. The Sci-fi Channel completely revamped the network and they don't show any horror/ science fiction movie made before the 2000's which is sad because movies from the 70's-early 90's are better than the Sci-fi original movies, they are garbage.

The Scream channel changed also. It is now called Dusk and shows less straight-on horror and more suspense and drama. Not a good move in my opinion.

Wow, that's messed up. There aren't too many networks I can think of that are devoted to just straight horror from decades past. I assume that someone is watching the low budget new age Sci-fi original movies, they're still on. I basically gave up on the network almost 8 years ago. It's been going down hill since NBC took over. Only reruns of "The Night Stalker" and "Tales from the Darkside " kept my interest in the past.
