This movie and the original are not zombie movies. The creatures are INFECTEDS. Zombies are created in an entirely different way. Watch The Serpent and The Rainbow sometime. That is a zombie movie.

Incorrect. They might not be zombies, but they're not the infected either. They're reanimateds, and the characters in films don't even refer to them as zombies but ghouls. The term zombie caught on in the 1970s with a ghoul apocalypse movie titled "Zombi" or something like that.
