Sounds like Criterion has acquired the rights to Close-Up and will be releasing it in the future. Jonathan Rosenbaum mentions on his blog that Criterion will be recording a commentary next January.

Yay! I wish they'd do like a 4 or 5 film Eclipse of his more obscure movies. That would be amazing. Still, this is good news --
