Was trial enacted to recorded live?

i understand the scenes in house and interviews were enacted for camera as they couldn't have been recorded when happened. but what about trial? did Kiorastami got interested before the trial actually took place and recorded it or it was re-enacted for the movie? Great and unforgettable film either way.
