I am watching this for my blog project. It is so enthralling that i have tabbed out to write this!

Seriously this is one of the top 50 films of all time? Am I watching the right film? Does anything happen of note or is it all as dull as it seems?

I am really concerned that I am missing something with the BFI suggestions. They are, pretty much as a whole so far, terrible. The only exceptions have been City Lights and The Battle of Algiers.

Every film is subjective. Nema-ye Nazdik was a character piece, placing introspection ahead of more visually dramatic aspects, for example. To each their own.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

Nope, you're watching the right film. Based on your blog posts, it looks like you have a pretty terrible taste in movies. Don't be too hard on yourself about it, though.

His blog is bizarre.
He planned to review all the top 50 IMDb films.
Seemed to give up after just the first 8.
