Seems to me a "3-14" would get minimal attention from real police?


Okay, a 3-14 indecent exposure would be placed on the back burner nice they were potential killers on board.

I actually came here to post about the 3-14 scene but figure this thread is close enough...

When cops use codes like that, it references the section of the penal code for that particular offense.

For example, a 3-14 is likely the section in the California Penal Code for an indecent exposure.

Every state has its own penal code, and guess what, so does Canada! So while an indecent exposure in California might be a 3-14, it's probably not that same section anywhere else in the world!

This is why that scene is utterly ridiculous. Obviously a Canadian "mountie" is going to have no clue what a 3-14 is!
