Lines copped from original Narrow Margin (1952)

Director Peter Hyams must have had his hands full being writer and cinematographer of this movie too. He obviously saved time by co-opting lines direct from the original, superior B-movie. My vote for the most inappropriate one is when the elderly couple give up their sleeper cabin for the Gene Hackman and Anne Archer characters when she pretends to be pregnant -- and the older man looks them up and down and starts calling them "kids" and asks them "Is this your first one?" Hilarious given that Hackman was 60 when this movie was released, Archer 43 but looking older in close-ups.
