The song that Martin and Moranis dance to at the club in New York is the same song as the one played at the end of the movie, but I don't know the name of it. When I get the movie back from my uncle, who borrowed the movie from me, I'll let you know the name of the song.

Did you ever get the movie back from your uncle to find out what song this is. I am a mobile DJ and I had someone request it this past weekend but didn't have a clue as to what song he was talking about. By reading the posts here it sounds like it would be worth having. Please let me know.

Merengue is syle of Latin music of which there are many. The song in the movie falls into this style. The name of the song and the artist I hope we can recall, great song....

The song is only in the movie written and composed for the film Ira Newborn.
It is not in the credits nor is there a soundtrack..... I am still seaching and hope to find an answer....

There are 2 songs. One is when Rick and Steve are in New York at a club called Bruno's. The other is during the F.B.I party and Rick and Joan dance on the beach. I contacted the composer and he was graceous enough to send me copies of them! If interested in obtaing them...hit me in my e-mail.

Holding up a cassette recorder??

Greetings from the 21st century, caveman! We have free software that can separate audio from video. If someone is motivated enough, rip the DVD to a .avi, then use Windows Movie Maker or some freeware from Cnet to strip and cut the audio to an mp3.
