Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme on DVD

Back in 1990, Disney Channel had a TV Movie called "Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme".
I think they should release the original 1990 version of the film onto DVD because Disney is releasing Older films such as Bambi, which was released in 1942, Lady and the Tramp was relesed in 1955, and the their new original movies like the Halloweentown Trilogy.

They at least should put this on DVD because it came out in the 90's.

Who Agree's me?

i am sad. i had it on VHS, it was crappy quality and it was recently partially taped over and then sent to mr. garbage dump in the fair city of chicago.

=(

i want to see this movie again because it was awesome, unique and very entertaining. and the guy from night court was in it [Harry Anderson - Peter Piper]. i'm going to stop rambling...

my vhs is long gone. my dad taped it for me when i was younger. the tape was in bad condition after that i remember. who knows where it is now. i'd buy the dvd in a heartbeat. i'm even willing to buy the vhs if i can't get it on dvd. besides, i'd appreciate the musicians in it a lot more than i did when i was younger. i completely forgot that cyndi lauper was in this.

I agree as well :)

What are they waiting for?
I've been looking for this on DVD for a long time,
it's not very easy to find the VHS anymore.
I wish that they'd just release it on DVD already...
don't care if there's any extras or special features,
I want the movie so bad!
hopefully soon...

He had me juggling teacups all night long. With tea in them!-TLU

Yes definitely! They should release "Mother Goose Rock n' Rhyme" on DVD! The last time I saw this movie was...dear god, it's been so long I can't remember! I didn't even know there were two versions of the movie. I don't even remember much of the movie. Just that Little Richard was in it and that it was a movie that had a whole bunch of old Mother Goose rhymes in it that were made up like rock songs. I know I never owned the vhs so I probably did see the Disney version. And if it did air on TV back in 1994, then I haven't seen this movie in 13 years. I was around six when I saw it and that was the one and only time. I'm surprised I even remember it! But getting back on track, they should release this movie on DVD.

I adored watching this movie on the Disney channel as a kid. I really wish it were availabe on dvd, or at the very least if it were under $20 for VHS format.

Well, apparently to my copy I recieved off of ebay the release of the DVD came out in 2005. Mine is the complete edition and has the scene with Katey Sagal as Mary, Mary Quite Contrary and Mother Hubbard as a fast food server who really doesn't have any food to serve. Try going on ebay and searching under "Shelley Duvall". That's what I did.

Just as a tip.

I tried ebay and I didn't get many results for her name. Only 1 was for the Mother Goose Rock n Rhyme and it was a $20+ used vhs tape.

Yeah I saw it up there too. Hm...It's up there once in a while. I'll keep an eye out for it though and let ya know.

Face it: your DVD(-R) is a bootleg, no question. This title still has yet to be officially released to in the digital format. That means that whatever it was that you bought off of eBay - regardless of whether or not it says, "Complete Version" (yeah, THAT's definitely a sign that's it's not a bootleg - say what..?), what you own is a pirated, unauthorized edition, put together by some thief in his/her home with a DVD-R burner and a color printer. The original artists received NOTHING for their contributions to the original program. You are no better than someone who buys stolen stereo equipment out of the back of the van in an alley.
