touching movie-spoiler

Loved how the son takes care of his mom even though she becomes a zombie and how the mom kills herself in the end out of love for her son. It actually brought a tear to my eye.

Yes, it's a great movie. Why oh why is it not on DVD yet???

I mean, come on, some of the most rubbishy movies ever made, and some really obscure, arty movies that hardly anyone has ever heard of gets DVD releases, but a little gem of a movie like Mom has still not found its way onto disc. It's a crying shame.

Not that there's anything wrong with obscure arty movies getting DVD releases if they're worth watching, but sadly some are really quite tedious and drags, but Mom is just bloody brilliant! - Unless your idea of a 'good' movie is car chases, blazing guns and loud loud noise most of the way through, in which case you'll probably think it's crap, but then many of us find those kind of movies crap, so each to their own, but those types are well catered for in the market!

Sorry, rant over, but it peeves me that Mom is still not on DVD.

My friends and me actually cried at the end. Mom was intseresting yet flawed horror/comedy. Jeanne Bates really shined and brought a touch of class to what would have been dissmissable dreck.
