Old VHS copy (UK at least) help??

The old VHS copy had a white wolf like thing on the front (I remember watching the film as a kid and being pretty dissapointed it never looked as cool as the front cover)

The story goes as kids I used to chase my younger brother round the video store wielding the VHS cover. He absoloutly terrified of it, sleepless nights for years.

anyways a long time has passed *wow it has been a long time :|* and Christmas is rolling round the corner, decided it would be a great gift for my younger brother this christmas :D (seeing his face when he opens the wrapping paper to see the white wolfs face would be classssic)

only problem is I can't find a copy anywhere. A few expensive American DVD copies on ebay but the Cover art is different (people probably complained cos im sure the *beep* cool white wolf wasn't even in the film) Wondered if anyone knew a little place I might be able to pick up the old VHS or if anyone had a copy they'd care to put on ebay?

cheers and Merry Christmas :D

I think you are referring to Clay's image of his Mom in a nightmare. I have a decent copy of a VHS. (one that hasn't been spliced or played to death) I know it is past X-mas but I might be able to help you out with your request.

If you have a DVD/VHS player/recorder, it is possible to burn a DVD from the VHS - it is not copy-protected. I did on my Go-Video, and the results were amazing. You need DVD-R for the machine, not +R, but it will work.

Otherwise, if you can somehow hook up your VCR to your computer, you might be able to download the film to computer, then burn a DVD (either - or +).

Either way, lots of luck. Maybe some enterprising company will one day issue this on DVD, but I won't hold my breath.
