For those of you that watched "Misery" AND "The Big Bang Theory" , doesn't the character on Big Bang theory remind you A LOT of Annie from Misery? The ressemblance is uncanny! I'm pretty certain that at least to some degree the writers were inspired by this. Not to mention even their voices, that of Kathy Bates and Mayim Bialik are very similar in tone.

What do you think?

She reminds me more of Janeane Garafalo if she gained about 50 pounds.

I have to third those other two opinions. I read the headline like "w.t.f?"
The only thing they have in common is they look like they shop in the same department store.

Rewatching the movie, I was actually thinking about it at times

I agree that there are similarities in the way they talk
