It was okay. It was filmed near my hometown and my dad played one of the underground guys, so of course he has a copy that he drags out every holiday.

Hey, Ibiralian , whose your dad? I may know him. The "pregnant woman" was a very good friend of mine (we have sort of lost track of each other, sadly) and I knew a guy who played one of those creatures!

I do not have attention deficit disor...Ooh, look at the bunny!

Me! It's kind of like THE ROAD WARRIOR crossed with the first HEAVY METAL film; The cannibal mutant costumes with all those gas masks & goggles plus the desert locations and female heroine lead all remind me of HEAVY METAL.

If you do some cross referencing on director Steve Barnett he was the production supervisor on DEF-CON 4, which the film is also very reminiscent of, but so much better than.

I loved it. Wish it was on DVD.

Pretty good film that unfortunately was rendered pretty pointless by its own ending.

great movie bruce campbell and angus scrimm are b-rated horror movie legends and to see them in the same movie is a dream come true just like being in one of those virtual worlds everything was great about this movie and although i guess it was similar to other movies that came before it still had its own charm and was a great movie

Seeing Bruce Campbell and Angus Scrimm battling towards the end sorta held some sort of hidden meaning for me (anyone else?). Sorta like the B-Movie master of old fighting the B-Movie master of the new vying for supremecey :)

All in all a decent flick, pretty good gory f/x (for the time), semi-decent acting (hell, Bruce Campbell and Angus Scrimm are godly no matter what they're in lol). Highly recommendable for any fan of classic B-flicks.

Anybody catch the Evil Dead II reference in Mindwarp?? When Bruce is trapped in the labor camp, he sees a crawler lose his hand, and he watches the other crawlers eat the hand. He then looks at his own hand, you know, like he's lost it before...

I just watched this movie and it made me feel gross. What an effectively horrific world the filmmakers conjured up.

There are a handful of movies that remind me of nightmares I often experienced as a small child. This is one of them. The others are "City of Lost Children", and "Spirited Away"

I was absolutely terrified by those dreams when I was younger, but now, I find I gravitate toward that sort of stuff with a morbid curiosity.
