The attack on him at his house is without a doubt, one of the GREATEST Scenes in the Mob Genre. Perfectly executed by the Coens. With a dash of a Comedy, Suspense and just absolute BRUTE Force, Leo destroys his intruders. The music, the cigar, the slippers etc... Such an under the radar Classic
You gotta put it in the right perspective though. What you're saying isn't WRONG per say, it's just not exactly "Right" either. The entire film is a homage to the old Gangster Films of the "Golden Era" of Hollywood. Exaggerated scenes were used to enhance that feeling. It's a bad Mofo showing WHY he's the Boss Of The Town.
