This has to be the worst movie I've ever seen.

I'm still haunted by it. Robert Mitchum was in it, so i stayed around until the end, but still, he only left me asking "why?"

While it isn't the worst I've ever seen, I must agree that it's absolutely awful. Despite being filmed around Pismo Beach and Morro Bay, they may as well have filmed it in a one mile stretch of road in Bulgaria at night. It sounds hard to make an action scene where a car is driven off a moving car transporter boring, but this sure as hell manages it. Plus an incredibly boring hero with a complete lack of screentime, a really stupid female victim and an incredibly irritating performance from Mark Hamill and if the Police in real life behaved like they as depicted in this film, every criminal would be on the streets.

I think this film is a load of uproariously tacky over-the-top trashy fun myself. Watching a hilariously miscast Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill ham it up deliciously as a total raving killer loon and behave in a wired wacky manner that's most unbecoming of a former Jedi knight was quite an enjoyable sight to behold throughout the course of the film. I especially dug the sequence at the gas station where Hamill bags a few highway patrolmen.

Then all the other movies you've seen must have been outstandingly superb because this is a brilliant movie - thrilling and well-acted. You're so lucky!
