I know this movie is terrible but I just love it. It is a classic! Mark Hamill and Michael Dudikoff in the same movie!? I remember seeing it years ago on one of the local stations really late at night while I was doing a research paper at the last minute. I have really fond memories of this movie because if I wasn't so interested in how it was going to end I wouldn't have been able to stay awake to finish the paper.

I bought the VHS tape used from Amazon a few years ago but am hoping that a DVD version will be released one day.

Mark Hamill saying, "That lady's got a glass eye!" cracked me up!

MIDNIGHT RIDE has been released by Mangpong Home Entertainment of Thailand, available to purchase from Ebay store TK Worldwide. The disc is PAL-format though so if you live in North America you'll need a PAL-to-NTSC conversion player to view it. It will also play on any computer DVD-ROM.

Thank you. I have just ordered it. I had no idea it existed on DVD anywhere. I've had it on VHS for years and am very grateful for the opportunity to 'upgrade' to DVD.

The Mangpong Dvd is horrible I have it.

I do not recommend it.

An official Region 1 DVD of this movie is certainly long overdue.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

I'm watching it right now and can't believe I'm watching something that bad despite Mark Hamill being in the lead...

Anyway, it's a DVB-S-recording and quality is at least as good as DVD, if not better. If you reaaaaaally want this movie, then get the necessary equipment and record it yourself - if you can find a channel that would ever broadcast this flick.
