The ending and Jennifer Jason Leigh *spoilers*

Did anyone else well up when Jennifer Jason Leigh walks in and sees Alec dead on the table? Her acting was brilliant. They way she kind of walked like a self conscious child. I felt really really sorry for her. I got the feeling her character was a little stunted and naive. She also reminded me a lot of an ex-girlfriend.
