did charlotte have sex with that guy or did they just kiss? whatever happened to his character and him? do they ever have a scene after that?
shareIt has been years since I have seen this movie but from what I recall, Charolotte did sleep with the guy. And I'm not sure but I believe that they did see each other again but he left town. I want to say that he was drafted in the Army but my memory fails me and I don't want to give incorrect information.
This movie was playing today on VH1 but I did not watch it. Maybe I should have. :)

sharecharlotte goes to look around in the bell tower she is supposed to be watching kate but she drags her along with her, and leaves her looking for rocks near the river, she meets joe there they start making out, she does have sex with him, during which kate drowns and almost dies in the water,she gets rescued by the nuns and everyone realises what charlotte was doing he drives her home,they sit on the porch and wait to hear if kate is ok,he goes when they hear she is, charlotte tells him he looks different, he says she looks beautiful, they tell each other to take care then he leaves, after that charlotte says that joe left town to open a nursery in california, and they still write to each other.

i always thought that was a great bit of direction: Kate drowning while Charlotte's having sex, cutting between them, it was so engaging while i was watchin im like "stop it! she's drowning!" but u want her to be with the guy all in all a great movie can't wait to get the dvd
