Decent sequel

I think this was a pretty decent sequel, but overall inferior to the original. The things I did like are the gritty/grungy atmosphere and feel of the film was exactly like the original, and the the police station massacre was bad-a$$ (even if it was a complete rip-off of The Terminator). The film was also well paced, and Cordell remained a scary and menacing villain. That said, I prefer how he was in the original, where you don't see his face, and throughout most of the movie you aren't sure if he's human or supernatural. The fact that it's possible that he may have been alive, and not some sort of supernatural beast, makes it scarier, IMO. Also didn't care for his serial killer friend (who was downright annoying). I don't even see how Cordell used him, as he clearly didn't need him for anything (the only reason I could possibly think Cordell wanted him around is because he was lonely). Those quibbles aside, this is a pretty worthy sequel, and worth watching for the cheesy entertainment that it is, 6/10.

I think it's better than the first. A great sequel.
