My Idea for Maniac Cop 4

Maniac Cop IV: The Return

Set 25 Years after Matt Cordell's reign of terror, Detective Sean McKinney is retiring after almost 40 years as a police officer. At the same time his son, Alex McKinney, has just graduated from the police academy. Following a celebration with friends and family, the two are involved in a car accident on the way home. Two Days Later, Alex awakens in the hospital only to learn that his father is dead. Soon after, he finds out that it was no accident and that his father was being targeted by an old enemy come back for revenge. Now, Alex must take on the task of stopping the Maniac Cop before more police officers and innocent people are added to his list of victims.

What do you think? If you're a fan of the series, I know that you're most likely angry that my idea involves the death of Det. McKinney but Robert Davi is almost 60 Years Old and I really don't think that making him the star of the movie at that age would work. It's usually a younger cop that takes down Cordell. In this case, it's McKinney's son.

I don't see you coming up with any good ideas. Loser. I mean seriously, you're like one of those trolls that goes around saying "Lame" to every idea someone has on every board there is. Really annoying.

I have the last laugh almost a year later. Hahaha!

Wow... That's... really sad.
I forgot all about this. I even forgot that I posted in this forum until I got this email notification.

Dude, you can have the last laugh if you need it that much. LOL
I'll concede to my epic defeat right here.

That's not sad. I was kidding around. Lighten up. I was actually going to apologize for what I said last year. There was no reason for me to talk s***. I'm sorry. And you were right, it really was a stupid idea. The first movie was the only good one. The rest sucked.

Dude, don't worry about it. lol
I was just being flamebait anyway.

I actually like this idea, with McKinney's son being the hero. Cordell needs to somehow get his other arm back though.

Well, years after this post I now think it would be a good idea if Cordell also had a son who became a cop and dies allowing Cordell to possess his deceased son's body. That would solve the arm issue (given his original body was nothing but burnt toast by the end of 3) and the fact that Robert Z'Dar is no longer with us allowing the role to open up for someone else.
