I just watched a 84 minute version of Maniac Cop 2 on Encore and noticed a Region 2 DVD runs about the same length. The IMBD lists it at 90 minutes. What is the correct length and has it been released anywhere completely uncut on DVD? I have a region free player and can watch anything.
shareDon't quote me, but I believe a longer version was released in Japan on laserdisc. I don't know if it's available on DVD.

There's an extra on Maniac Cop One DVD that says it includes additional scenes filmed for Japanese TV Broadcast. Maybe they did that for Part 2 also. I guess I'll just hold on to my encore TV version until they do an elaborate DVD release of Part 2.
shareNTSC to PAL conversions speed things up a bit and thus make them a bit shorter. Encore probably just showed this.
shareIMDBs runtime information is often completely wrong. So that's probably what it is.
