That sux, how does he get killed off? is it right at the end or near begging and is the death a crappy one?

reply

Its kind of the beginning. Its like a knife shaped object. It goes into the back of is neck, and come out his throat. So sad. Bruce Campbell is awesome. Does that help you?

I could of sworn it was in the back of the neck, and it came out his throat. It aint that how he died.

reply

OK, it was at the very bottom point of the throat and occurs at 18 minutes and 8 seconds in. Use the still feature on the DVD and you can see some terrible fake skin fx. It's also very brief, so eyes peeled.

The build up to the kill is great, cutting between Campbell buying his newspaper and Cordell walking down the street skillfully twirling his batton in a menacing manor. Unfortunately it's all spoilt by the terrible fake neck.

Hopeless.

reply

Yeah I did not like how soon he was offed. It almost made me turn the movie off, being a HUGE fan of his.

reply

Yeah, both leads from the first movie get killed off in the sequel...not only Bruce Campbell, but Laurene Landon later gets her neck snapped by Cordell after she unsuccessfully tries to take him down with a chainsaw.

reply

yes bruce campbell does die he dies at the beggining

"yes bruce campbell does die he dies at the beggining"

More like 15-20 minutes in.

See you in the funnies.

reply

I guess it was a quick credit for him. Bummer.

I think it was a way, to introduce the 2 new protagonists (the Cop and the Psychiatrist chick)

It was sort of a transition, appease the fans by giving the old characters a bit of screen time, then kill them off. Establishes the 2 new protagonists, for part 3 also.
