Perfect example of maturity level of a 13 year old

I was 13 years old in 1990 when this movie came out, and I thought that it was the funniest thing ever made. Perhaps this is because now that I rewatched it for the first time in over 20 years, it seems as though it was written by a 13 year old boy trying to duplicate the humor of Airplane! or Police Squad/Naked Gun. Needless to say, it's virtually unwatchable.

However, the part where the German punches out the little girl still gets a laugh. And I just learned that that little girl is Natasha Lyonne from the American Pie movies, among other things, so there's that.
