Funniest Part

Well, for those of us who actually get a kick out of this movie, which part had to be the funniest? For me, it was without a doubt the part when they are all watching the home video of Laroquette as a big kid wearing the antlers. When bernice says "You're a barrel of laughs" LMAO!! Then Kirstie starts laughing and she snorts... then when he stands in front of the slide, they all start screaming hysterically laughing.... it is the most funniest scene i've seen...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the funniest part was Dennis Miller's hairdo.

It's a cookbook!

"How would you murder someone?"

Priest: "Kindness." (Gets hit with a soccer ball) "OW! YOU [BLEEP]ING SH[BLEEP]!"

reply

lol

the ending part that wrotes:
"they moved to.........bought new house in...........live happily in their new home.........UNTIL THEIR PARENTS CAME TO VISIT."
LMAO!

I think I have to say the scene I laughed the most at is the scene where the cat gets into the cocaine. Even now just thinking about it I can't help but giggle hysterically.

Yeah, the cat stuff is pretty funny.

I cracked up when she used the lady's bed harness thing to sling her out of the window.

There seem to be a lot of similarities to the Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Kinda like if you made a movie purely on the house stuff and amped up the crazy. It even has the crazy cat and animated opening credit sequence.

Hard to believe there is not at least a basic DVD release.

reply

Didnt the opening have an animated dancing toilet?

reply

I don't remember. I happened to catch the animated credits and some of the first and started the recording afterwards. Then several weeks passed before I watched the rest. I would like to see the credits again.

** SOME SPOILERS HERE ** ---- I just got through watching this movie for the very first time on the ENCORE LOVE Channel . What a total riot ! The funniest part for me was towards the end of the movie when character Mark ( played by John Larroquette ) was chasing his neighbor out of his home with a circular saw . The cord from the saw gets pulled out of the wall because it was too short . Mark is standing there looking a bit confused at the moment . Then in the next scene you see a hand plugging an orange extension cord into the plug and there is his wife Jesse ( played by Kristie Alley ) feeding Mark the orange extension cord draped loosely yet neatly around her wrist and with a totally wild look on her face too lol . Totally classic stand by your man scene . Thanks nts712 for your subject post .

-he makes me drive his old jaguar! - some people have worse problems. --oh like who? --like people who don't have cars. ---OH WHO CARES ABOUT THEM!!!

The 12-13 year old girl next door bouncing on the trampoline asking John Larroquette's character if he'd like to bounce and he says "no, there's laws against that"!

And the girls annoying, bratty brother. Funny as hell. He blows up the cat, doesn't flush the toilet after pooping (you repulsive little midget, next time flush!), mows "eff you" on the lawn, and he's actually scared away by the couple!

everything mentioned above was funny as hell....my favorites would include the cat on concaine ,the police chopperspotting the message on the lawn ,mark pouring the cocaine on his neighbors driveway and the cat puking inside the car

They hate us 'cause they ain't us
