Flag-Bearer Editing

I like this modern version, and the young Balthazar Getty is terrific in this.

This color version with great editing nicely accentuates primal morality with thoughtful choreography which is both simple and storyteller-rich.

It's not "Citizen Kane" (Orson Welles), but it certainly warrants at least 3 out of 5 stars.
