If this actually would happen and all the kids were rescued. What would happen with Jack and the other savages when they come home to society again? You think there would be a trial for the murders and the atemt to murder Ralph? Since the military guys at the end saw some of the thing that were going on there they would actually have witnesses for a trial to break out. Or would the court just see through this since it was on a deserted island?
Any law interested people out there who could answer this? =)

I would love some responses on this because I have to write a 5 page "story" on their lives after the rescue.

just come up with what you can. if you start asking ppl what they think about YOUR work, you get a "committee" and it not longer is your work. you should also tell whoever came up with this assignment to write about "what happened after" to stop and consider what was already written. a "sequel" or "conclusion" is unnecessary.
those who can't "DO", teach... remember that.

the real issue is not that they killed but they didnt CARE that they killed especially when they killed simon that was a full on stabbing event they sort of just left after they found out that it was one of their friends, that effected me more i think

Realistically youre probably right but one of the key themes the book suggests is that after everything theyve been through, despite being rescued they've still lived through that ordeal. I think this all has something to do with the title. So when you said "I think once they go back to soceity they ould become more civilised, just as quickly as they became barbaric" they probably wouldnt. Since Ralph complains, "my innocence is lost."
