Just as good as I remembered :)
Just rewatched this movie today, after getting a hold of a VHS copy. I loved this movie when it first aired, and I still enjoyed the suspense, even though I pretty much remembered every single part of the movie.
shareJust watched it on VHS for the first time in over 10 years also, and I agree it still holds up well and is still pretty dang creepy, haha. I guess it's just the weird music or the unusual lighting and editing but it somehow has a way of getting under your skin. Really kinda of a throwback to the made for TV horror/suspense movies of the 70's like "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" or "When Michael Calls", where the thrills depended more on mood and suspense instead of violent jumps or histrionics. Wish more thrillers had this mindset where it really took it's time to develop it's characters and story on a psychological level instead of just diving right into quick thrills and cliches.
