Kind of reminds me of...
"I Saw What You Did." Teenage girls are so dumb. My friends and i actually did used to call random guys. That was in the early 90s.

shareNice catch.
According to IMDb I Saw What You Did (1965) is one the reference.
Two young girls making prank phone calls and calling a killer.
There is a version of “I saw what you did” from the 80s. Candace Cameron is in it.

Interesting, only one year before Lisa.
This concept of prank get wrong is actually clever idea for a horror movie.
The horror genre always dealt with the issue of punishment for petty sins (have sex, make fun of other people etc..)
I will give both movie a chance. I doubt if one of them is better than Lisa.
Lisa is so much better. As a mom the movie had scared for her the whole time. She is so innocent and playing such a dangerous game.
shareThis is every parent's nightmare.
It is much more scary movie for parents than teenagers. My sister changed her movie preferences completely after the first child born, she doesn't watch horror movies anymore, if we wants to go to movie together I check that there is nothing in the movie that might cause her anxiety.
On other hand, teenagers not always aware to the dangers out there, and how vulnerable they are meeting with strangers.
