I have to ask because i've never been sure about Timothy Spall's menu. I've been double guessing myself for so long that it may actually be high cuisine, because that kind of food is so far beyond me (for a few reasons). So it's a joke right? It's as unpalatable as it sounds, compounding on the impossibility of his whole restaurant dream? But then again i can see it as something certain people would eat. I don't know... tongue in a rhubarb hollandaise?
Everything on his menu is vile! The entire thing was designed to make us laugh and go "ewwwwwww".

Aubrey is clearly an extremely pretentious man with delusions of culinary grandeur, hence why his high cuisine aping menu (and remember 'high cuisine' was particularly popular in the 1980s) is so absurd and revolting. I can't think of one thing on his menu anyone would seriously want to eat, but I'd be interested to read from anyone who would.
