I agree that this movie wasent very good but none the less when you look back at things havent you ever wished that someone who unexpectedly died could do at least one more movie like chris farley, so when i think about it at least he got some movies done before he died, this one counted.

Um, sfilojon, I don't know where you heard that but Brandon wasn't shooting The Crow 2 when he had his accident, it was during the board room shoot out in the first movie, his fatal injury occured.

I thought Brandon didn't do worse then Legacy Of Rage, guess I was wrong after seeing this, then again, it was only his second feature film, Kung Fu The Movie doesn't really count cos it was a TV movie.

He was wounded fatally a few days before the end of principal shooting when hit by a dummy bullet which had lodged in a .44 Magnum. The gun was accidentally pointed directly at him by Michael Massee, who played Funboy, while the latter was off balance. It hit Brandon in the abdomen, and did so much damage to his vital organs, being more powerful than a real bullet, that he died 12 hours later, in spite of being given 14 pints of blood. Ironically, he was filming the very scene in which his character, Eric Draven, is murdered as he comes back to his apartment with some groceries. The gun wrangler was not on the set at the time of the accident. They would have had to pay him overtime, the budget was small. Eventually, the CGI effects needed to finish the movie added $8 million to it. After 700 hours of investigation the police concluded that Brandon's death was an accident.

I bought this movie at the dollar store. Surely it has to be the best movie they have to offer there... right? hehe

I agree it wasn't a good movie but I think it was the way it was filmed and edited cuz the comedic timing acting, and sarcasim from Brandon was good but thats not all thats need to make a movie good.

How come in movies like this the gun fire seem so unlikely and weird like they unload large amounts of gun fire but only graze the sides of cars and the ground?

Ok, it might have been the worst movie he agreed to act in, but listen everyone! He was JUST breaking into the American film market. He hadn't done a film/movie since 1986 (Legacy of Rage & Kung Fu: The Movie), so any American film offer probably was needed to eat. When your trying to break into a film market, you can't be super picky with all the roles you are offered, especially when Brandon Lee didn't have much behind his belt to get a "shakespeare" type role you all wish he would have gotten...

Another note. Brandon Lee's acting was not half bad in this film! (aside from the part where he plays a beggar on the street asking for alms & the Cuban General) Many of the looks he gives are great and you can see he really is dedicating himself to the acting craft for a bright future! :)

P.S. his hair looks much better in this film than in 'Rapid Fire'...He should have kept this hairstylist...:)

It's a bad movie, that's for sure. However, I give Brandon credit for his performance... he's acting like he KNOWS the movie sucks but he's trying to have fun with it anyway. :)

worse role was when he made a cameo in a german film I think. standing in front of a club, Legacy of Rage was his worse movie in full though, i think it is because of the Count of Monte Cristo type story minus the prison break.
