When they enact the Gettysburg address, they say "for the people and for the people". It's "by the people and for the people".
It should be against the law to use "LOL" unless you really did LOL!
I always wondered why not a SINGLE person who worked on this film ever noticed the mistakes in the Gettysburg Address portion of the movie.
Our FOREfathers? Shall not perish from THIS earth? Even as a grade-schooler, I knew the words better than the supposed adult, professional staff at this fictional school do.
I also always wondered if educators in the state of Oregon were embarrassed to be portrayed as such lunkheads.
The show must go on. Kids usually get lines wrong on stage and have to roll with it. I think that makes it more authentic.

That's not s plot hole. Historically inaccurate, but not a plot hole. A "plot hole" is something that ruins the plot of the movie. This has zero effect on the film's plot.
