I didn't find the ending plausible

Crisp threatens to kill his own kid, and Kimble puts down his gun. This is implausible for several reasons.

1. Crisp went to some trouble to find the kid. Would he really kill him? If he actually pulled the trigger, guess what happens next.

2. Not a really good idea to lay down your gun when confronted with a psychotic killer. Guess what happens next. Then he goes on killing other people.

3. Cops are told never to surrender their weapons.

4. This stupid scene has been done at least a thousand times. It somehow always ends well. In reality, he ends up dead.

Just like katherine trammell states in Basic Instinct you have to suspend your disbelief. I have a feeling you have a hard time with a lot of movies as many are totally unbelievable.

reply

Are you saying this movie isn't real?

reply

Yeah, it's not like a low life scum bag father has ever murdered his own kid.

reply

Kimball was supposed to be thinking emotionally not rationally. All he saw was the kid in danger.

reply

Crisp wanted the child for egotistical reasons, not for concern for the child. His own self-worth is what motivates Crisp in all of his decisions in life.

reply

1. The guy was crazy and evil, who knows what he was capable of

2. Who went on killing other people? Kimble ended up shooting Crisp so no he didn't kill anyone else

3. You're probably right, but I guess you just have to accept that its a movie

4. ???????????????

reply

1. Crisp wasn't planning to kill Dominic. He just wanted to scare Kimble away. I mean he only pulled a gun on Dominic only when Kimble showed up.

2. Well, Kimble was just scared, so he did what he felt would save the boy's life.

3. Kimble did what he felt would save the boy's life.

4. I don't understand what you mean.

It’s the ENDING of Kindergarten Cop that you didn’t find believable?

I see.

reply

How about the rest of it? Right?
