intimacy between bevvie and the boys

When Bill and Bevvie see each other in the Chinese restaurant, they do a long, quite passionate, kiss on the lips. Then, a bit later, Ben starts massaging Bevvie's shoulders, and after a while he gets more into it, in an obviously sexual way.

Ben was single, but Bill and Bevvie were both married. I get that Bevvie was okay with Ben's massage because she hated her husband. But, Bill is meant to be the most moral and upright of the losers. Did he disrespect Audra by kissing Bevvie so powerfully the lips?

One further point, sexual tension is implied between adult Bevvie and the loser boys as a whole. This is evident in the way Bevvie both gave and received affection with all the boy losers.

Was this affection good friendship, sexual tension, or a mix of both?

Purely platonic.

Affection.

Good friendship.

Just my opinion.

In the miniseries, I don't believe Bev and Tom were married. They were just business partners, if I'm not mistaken.

In the book, they were definitely married.

I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.

You are indeed correct. When they all reunite they were all asking questions about their lives, when they ask aBeverly if she was married she started to say "Well I live with a a.....) then she drops it and says that she is not married.

reply

They were getting ready to get in bed together, so they were definitely more than business partners

In the book Bill and Bev have sex as adults after they've been reunited

Have you read the book? The mini-series ditched a lot of scenes from the book (for obvious reasons). Adult Bill and Beverly for example had sex close to the end of the book, and let's not forget the "gang-bang" scene in the sewers where they all have to have sex with Beverly, for some odd reason (that *beep* was a bit weird, all right...)
