English translation right after Van Stretch is shot

Can someone please translate?

Dennis Peck: "Por qué la fusca"
Hitman" "Segura"

Don't know why something minor like this is driving me cray, but it is :)

"No, if anyone orders Merlot, I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any f----ing Merlot!"

That was no help whatsoever.... "fusca" isn't recognized by any of the online dictionaries or translators. Maybe the spelling of the Spanish dialog isn't exactly correct.

Does anyone who speaks Spanish know what they said?

reply

tricky since i don't recall the dialogue

fusca may be a type of gun, or slang for one, like a double barrel?
in which case peck asks the hitman 'why the fusca?' (as in why shoot him with the fusca?)and the reply 'segura' means its safe or secure (ie it would be sure to kill him) which of course it wasn't quite, or at least not quickly enough...

i think peck asks him that to distract him just before he shoots him dead

reply

I believe Peck asks, "Why the fusca?", probably referring to the gun, which is so powerful that the shot makes the body fly away.

The hitman's reply means sure/certain, in other words, it's more certain to kill.
