Internal Affairs vs. Unlawful Entry

There are several people who've compared the two films for numerous similarities and recommend the other to fans of one. I need to see both again. Which do you find better overall?

Internal Affairs for the psychological warfare between Garcia and Gere, and you can't really see where it's going. This is a problem for Unlawful Entry.

Least they didn't kill me. That was right considerate, I thought.

The only thing the two movies have in common is that cops are prominent.

Internal Affairs is a seductive thriller masquerading as a cop drama. Internal Affairs is a character study of two men whose lives are wildly different, but who are similar in that they are both relentless in getting what they want. As dorian notes, when Raymond offers to help make him detective in exchange for his assistance in trying to catch Peck, "thats just what dennis would say".

Unlawful Entry is about an unbalanced cop obsessed with another man's wife

the movies arent similar at all. Also, internal affairs is a less cartoonish and far superior film. Dont get me wrong, Ray Liotta's batshyt cop definitely makes Unlawful Entry worth watching, but Internal Affairs is a much better film by far.
