Is there a similar movie with alien who needs drugs?

Maybe it's even in this movie...
There's an alien (let's say in L.A.) that for some reason needs ALOT of cocaine.
Someone is chasing him. Either police detectives or an alien bounty hunter...
All I remember is a night scene, where an alien (who looks like a human male) after some chase scene through the streets, gets to some parked car and opens a big case full of coke and snorts up the whole stash...
I think it was one of those 80ies action SF movies.

Any ideas what this might be?

You were right the first time, Al. That IS the outline of this movie!

It was released theatrically as "I Come In Peace." But, for some strange reason, the DVD distributors changed the title for mass marketing. Btw; if Lundgren's FBI sidekick looks familiar, it's because he's played by Brian Benben. BB was starring in an adult made-for-HBO sit-com, at the time of this movie's theatrical run. Something about an ad man trying to cope with the after-effects of divorce.

I eventually rented the film, but unfortunately either my memory is getting shabby or this is not it. Both options are valid right know. I'm pretty sure that alien, I was thinking of, snorted the coke , but who knows...

Even though I cannot recall if there is a suitcase full of coke scene in the movie, you may be thinking of "The Hidden", with Kyle MacLachlan and Michael Nouri.

Thanks, but i saw that one long ago. Great movie, but not whatI was thinking of. Maybe it was Dark Angel, but my memory of the scene got destorted. It was some 10 years ago... Then again, maybe I remember correctly...

Also...don't forget I COME IN PEACE with Dolph Lundgren. A forgotten classic cheesy-but-fun sci-fi flick!

"I Come in Piece" is Dark Angels' a.k.a. title and although it has a similar scene it's not the scene that i remember.

Well kinda, but it's the crazed Scorpio member who snorts coke in that one. Not the alien. Predator is "on the needle" in that film. :)

This is a bit late, and I don't know if it's what you're thinking of, but Chevy Chase snorts up a whole lot of something and then says "I FEEL GOOOOOOD!!" in Modern Problems. I kind of feel like I've seen the scene you describe somewhere else, as well.

1. it wasnt coce.. it was heroin imho
2. he doesnt 'need' them, he used it only to sedate his victims to pump out blood for his 'trophys' ._.

I was describing a scene from a similar movie I was trying to track down. We've concluded that since Dark Angel differs in the ways you just mentioned, it probably isn't the movie I'm looking for. Either that or my memory is shabby.

This was a reply to my first post, right? IMDB's topics often look like spider webs after a couple of pages and you have no idea who's replying on what now.

Dunno if this counts technicaly, but Bad Taste (peter jackson before he became a douche) involves aliens that have come to earth seeking humans as the universes ultimate delicacy.
