Finally!

It had been bugging me for a couple of years trying to remember what this movie was called. I saw it in the theater back when it first came out, back in 1991 I realize now. I would've been about 7. All I remembered was the girl in pig tails pretending to be a boy and tackling the kid, and her telling him that she was an orphan. I thought she was hiding in a train, not a ship. Once in awhile when it was really bugging me, I would do a google search based on that. Finally found the title with a description that sounded familiar in the "List of American films in 1990" on wikipedia. Looked up the trailer and it had the bit I remembered. Watched it last night on DVD, first time in 20 years. Didn't recall a single other thing about it. Another mystery solved!
