sent a ship back for the pirates??

As evil as those pirates were, I'd hope that they would have a ship sent back to retrieve them. Those pirates were smart and would probably figure out a way to get back to civilization. Then they would probably try and find Hakon or they'd cause more terror in the waters.

I think it's just a movie and it didn't really happen. :P but yeah i'm sure when they told people the story someone would have sent a ship back. Gabriel Byrnes character was wanted for some crime and was sentenced to hang if i'm not mistaken. That would have been part of the motivation.
