Loser Father
IS it just me, or does Haakons father seem like a deadbeat to shoulder off his debt to his young son?

shareUmmmm..... Hello...... His father hurt his leg. He couldn't go back to work until he was healed up, but unfortunately, his farm was going to be taken away, so Hakon was the one who had to go.

It might be his fathers debt, but it was the family who was going to suffer if Haakon didn't go. There was no choice really.

His father certainly didn't LIKE the idea of Haakon going to sea...But it was about the only alternative to losing the farm.
