The action is the tipycal of the late 80's early 90's hong kong flicks. Is not a %100 Jackie Chan film and is not a %100 John Woo kind of film. In fact, it's a cast ensamble beetween Tony Leung (the actor of "A better tomorrow 3" and "The lover" not the one in "Hero" or "Hard Boiled"), Sammo Hung, Andy Lau and Jackie Chan. The four have almost the same screen time and importance in this film. There are not a lot of fights, at least like in a typical Jackie Chan film (he has in this one a good ones) and the shootout at the end had a John Woo style (of his 80's films). It's a little bit like "Legacy of rage (1986)" or let say "Lock up (1989)" meets "A better tomorrow (1986)". If you can, rent it and give it a chance. Hope this been useful for you......

It's a cop/crime movie with a few twists. There are a few action scenes but they aren't near as important as just the setting of the mood, Jackie doesn't do much justice here but then again, THIS IS NOT A JACKIE CHAN MOVIE.

the few action scenes are kind of good,i bet samo was the stund coordinator because they fly and land very hard.

the scenes at the end is legendary,it is almost like it is another movie.

it gets better the third time you see it ..
