Still good after all these years. And my husband (a former fast attack submariner) agrees. Great performances all around.

This is probably the best sub movie ever. I did enjoy Crimson Tide and U-571. I saw Das Boot years ago and thought that was a little drawn out.

Crimson Tide was great, right up until they brought race into the movie.

At that point I pretty much knew I'd never watch it again.

Agreed that was stupid but if you look past that its good.
