after watching this movie several times. I for one noticed a guy sitting in the corner sleep. Then I remember that same guy arrived at the party yawning. I also ntice that kid that made the kool-aid played the role of 10 year old Trey in Boyz-N-the Hood.

Everytime a television is on in this movie, the "Hey Love" album commercial is on. If you were around back then thats exactly how it was.

When Kid's on his bed doing homework, the book he's reading is 'The Pit and the Pendulum'. That's a story about a person imprisoned in a room. I always wondered if that supposed to foreshadow Kid getting grounded later on that night.
Also, when he's finished his homework, he starts writing a rap. It's a good example of product placement in a way, as it's the lyrics to the song 'Toe to Toe' which appeared on Kid n Play's album, Face the Nation.
In the 'Hey Love' commercial the guy that says "No my brotha, you got to get your own" is the same guy that plays Flash from the movie 'The Five Heartbeats'.
The crooks running from the dog were the Hudlin Brothers(the film's directors), when kid runs through the house there's obviously a funeral setting but a couple making out, then when he gets to the outside you can here a woman say "Have some chicken baby" , the floating noise of the turd in the toilet when Play lifts the seat up to flush it

She appears to be 30+ (why would she be at a party with teens?) and cannot dance.

Anyone ever notice Sydney starring kid down hard when he first gets to the party and is giving everybody high fives. She's out there dancing hard and then damn near breaks her neck to get a good stare at Kid.
