A remake I think would be awesome....

Now I know that I am probably going to get blasted all over this for saying this but, a remake would be awesome. I think Travis from Gym Class Heroes would be so dope to star. It woud be so cool. There's movies out there about rap and hip hop music and how these guys over come obstacles to get there music out there and *beep* like that. Well let them remake this movie about a couple kids trying to be great at music, trying to get girls, trying to avoid getting the *beep* kicked out of them, and trying to throw one kick ass party. Is there any one out there who agrees???

The reason I love (LOVE) this movie is for it's classic status. Nothing can touch it. No other hip hop movie for the young set can beat it. If they did a remake, it would be b-a-d. Really. Think about it! The reason you love this film, is because of it's timelessness. It's music (good fun hip hop)m the actors (who can be kid'n'play? today, really), and it's all around good afterglow. It's a top film that should not have remakes. The last sequel was terrible, and that got their approval!...No!

So I know good intention from you, but think what they would do. It's like a remake of Clueless (I see Miley Cyrus, and it gives me nightmares) or American Pie (the straight to DVD's are the proof).

Classic teen flicks are hard to find. Good or Bad. Whats' in the past should stay there, and be awesome.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! No remake. Leave it alone. Bad enough there's 15 sequels. They really should've stopped at the first one.

I'm with Hershe NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please NOOOOOOOOOOO! I would be so pissed if they re-made this. They always remake good *beep* go re-make 'bug' or something.

Reginald Hudlin's style can not be replicated. The subtle humor of character facial expressions and recognizable awkward situations is something that should have been more recognized. "The Great White Hype" was a great follow up and its humor should have been more appreciated. VERY IMPRESSIVE!! "Boomerang" was well done also.

This movie to me is almost a period piece, it represents the time when it came out. I mean you could basically remake with a movie that has a similar plot and a different name. Kid n' Play cannot be redone. But a party movie set in modern urban enviorment could work. You could have someone like souljah boy or chris brown as the main character because both are commercial and would probably do a decent summer box office, but I would not expect anything special form it.

Travis from Gym Class Hero's????? You must be 15 y/o. Please don't ever touch this classic. I was 11 when it came out and I like the nostaglia it brings.

A movie like this should be regularly remade to fit the era. In fact, they could make sequel set in the 60s or 70s and it would still be successful.
